Charity Collection: Beaded Bracelet for Caring For A Cure
Each month, we'll be highlighting a charity or a cause to give back to through a piece, or pieces of, jewelry. When you purchase from our StephieChic Charity Collection, 50% of the proceeds from each piece will go directly to the charity or cause.
For February, we are thrilled to announce our partnership with Caring For A Cure, an organization founded by the nurses of the Mass General Adult Hematology/Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant program with a goal to improve the journey of patients and families with cancer through research, resources, and awareness.
Their goal is to ease the journey and uplift the spirits of their patients and their families through support, connections and research. We encourage you to read more about their program here.
This organization is especially important to StephieChic as a dear friend of ours, Ali Pochebit, was treated at MGH. Alison fought a two and a half year battle with acute lymphoblastic leukemia and proved that miracles do exist. She exemplified strength and determination with an abundance of grace and courage on a daily basis. She had a fabulous sense of style, an effervescence and her heart radiated love to everyone that knew and cared for her. The mark Ali made on the lives of those around her will be felt forever as we strive to find the fun each and every day just as she did.
Ali and her family felt the support of Caring For A Cure, and we are thrilled to be able to support their cause in Ali's honor.
